ACCESS

Brand identity and launch for a pioneering public-private joint venture

The background

ACCESS is a collaboration between Glasgow City Council and Serco, the international service company - the first public-private partnership of its kind.

The challenge

The partners needed to communicate the way ACCESS makes a range of services available from one organisation - rather than as previously, from multiple locations.

The work

We began by identifying the ACCESS proposition: simplifying a complex, multi-faceted organisation into a single, understandable contact point. From this, we developed the image of a door, to symbolise the idea of easy access to a range of services. This became the 'E' of the ACCESS brand mark.

The results

The words of Duncan Mackison, CEO of Access, say it all:

"Rare Breed has brought Access to life, creating a powerful brand identity that aligns perfectly with our business strategy and the benefits it will bring to the City of Glasgow."
