QVC is the world’s leading multimedia shopping retailer.
We were asked to create a new design for the QVC’s employee magazine ‘Inside Q’.
An extensive visual audit of ‘gossip’ magazines formed the basis of a toolkit allowing us to present ‘bite size’ chunks of information in a fun way to gossip-hungry staff from London to Liverpool. We suggested the development of an Inside Q app, available on Apple and Android. It not only makes the magazine more accessible, it also includes additional content to the printed magazine such as video clips and animations, and it allows staff to send instant replies to competitions and questionnaires.
In line with QVC’s ongoing CSR initiative, the Inside Q app reduced the number of printed copies by 70% and picked up a GDUSA design award.
